Bernie
was born in Seattle, Washington in 1968. Thirty years later,
he sailed a boat alone around the world and, when he got
home, decided that equine travel actually made more
sense. So he traded his boat in for a mule and pony
and rode them across America.
Bernie is a good writer, a fair horseman and a lousy judge
of distance.
When he is not living in a tipi, boat or gypsy wagon,
he resides in North Carolina.
